Melancholy Blue

As soon as I saw these pants on ASOS I knew I'd have to have them. A similar material and cut to these favourites I could foresee them being a staple in my wardrobe with the flexibility to move from summer into winter.

As with their cousin these are easy to dress up or down and look particularly good on a spring day with a simple white tee and sandals. As you know I love printed pants and these are no exception with a high waist, tapered legs and big deep pockets. I know, pockets, does it get much better? The colour really is beautiful and unlike anything I own. For some reason the deep blue and oversized floral print make me feel melancholy. In a good way...

I'm envisaging some possible print mixing with these in the future but for now I'm enjoying bringing out the white against the pretty blue.

  1. Nice outfit! I can't quite master the tucking tops into things....I feel like my belly is all the wrong size!
